Use this calculator to help meet your weight loss goals. Starting a new weight loss plan can be intimidating. Tracking calories is the only accurate way to lose weight, but trying to figure out the numbers can be difficult.
Use the Calculator to Determine Calorie Deficit:
1) Enter your current weight.
2) Enter your goal weight.
3) Press “Calculate.”
After you press calculate, the calculator will determine how many pounds you need to lose and how many calories you need to burn in order to lose those pounds.
In order to lose one pound, you must eliminate from your diet, or burn, 3500 calories. The calorie deficit in this case is defined as the number of total pounds you need to lose multiplied by 3500.
Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting a weight loss or exercise program.
